Must be at least (24) years of age
Must have at least (3) years of tractor trailer Commercial Vehicle Driving (CVD) experience
Must have at least (2) years of experience with a flatbed, step-deck or RGN (removable goose neck) trailer
Must have a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Must have a valid Medical Examination Report Form for Commercial Driver Medical Certification Form MCSA-5875 (medical card)
Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing Clearinghouse
Must meet the Physical Qualifications and Examinations as outlined in FMCSR 391.41
Must not have had more than (1) preventable crash or (4) points in the past (3) years
Automatic disqualification for any of the following
(2) or more crashes in a 12-month period
Allowing an unauthorized person to drive
DUI within the past (5) years
False report to law enforcement
Fleeing from law enforcement or the scene of a crash
Felony with the use of a motor vehicle
Fraudulent use of a driver’s license
Racing in any type of vehicle
Vehicular homicide
Reckless driving
Passing a stopped school bus
Speeding more than 20 mph over the posted speed limit
Having (5) or more points
Driving around a railroad grade crossing arm or signal
Violations requiring a detailed explanation
Failure to report an accident or cargo damage claim
Failure to stop and render aid
Driving wrong way on a highway
